Alternative energy on agenda at workshop

Alternative energy is one of the topics that will be discussed at Prof Johan Willemse’s quarterly agricultural market workshop in Bloemfontein.

Dr Phillip Olivier is a guest speaker and will talk about this on 3 May 2019 and shed light on when solar energy actually pays off. Prof Willemse’s, a well-known agricultural economist, workshops are about agricultural market prospects and are held at the Biker’s Church in the City of Roses.

Willemse will discuss the macro-economics, grain markets and renewable energy, as well as livestock market prospects, at his second workshop in 2019.

A light lunch is also provided. Bookings must be made by Monday 29 April 2019. Pre-booking is essential.
