New agricultural season discussed at workshop

Do you want to know what the markets might look like in the new season? Or do you wonder what the weather is going to do? Then the next agricultural market workshop in Bloemfontein, presented by Prof Johan Willemse, is just for you.

On the agenda at the quarterly workshop are market prospects for the new season, as well as climate prospects. Johan van den Berg, agricultural weather expert from Sanlam Crop Insurance, will share his knowledge on the climate, while Willemse, a well-known agricultural economist, will among other things discuss macroeconomics, grain and livestock markets.

The event will be held at the Biker’s Church in the City of Roses on 30 August 2019 and a light lunch will also be provided.

Reservations must be made by Monday 26 August 2019. Advance bookings are essential.
