Weaning calf industry and wool marketing discussed at workshop

Are you in the weaning calf industry or do you need advice on the marketing of wool? The next agricultural market workshop, presented by Prof Johan Willemse, in Bloemfontein will give you the answers.

In addition to informative market prospects that are on the agenda at the quarterly workshop, the focus is also on the above aspects that can help you manage you’re farming practices better. Estelle van Reenen of Sparta Beef and Gawie van Heerden of Konsortium Merino will share their knowledge on the weaning calf industry and wool marketing respectively.

The event will be held at Biker’s Church in the City of Roses on 1 November 2019 and a light lunch will also be provided.

Willemse, a well-known agricultural economist, will among others discuss macroeconomics, grain and livestock markets.

Reservations must be made by Monday 28 October 2019. Advance bookings are essential.
