Vrystaat Landbou (VL) is ŉ nie-winsgewende, vrywillige lede organisasie vir kommersiële boere in die Vrystaat-provinsie en is in 1904 gestig.

Die organisasie bestaan uit ŉ gevestigde struktuur wat lede bystaan en na hul gemeenskaplike belange omsien. Ons lede word in 149 boereverenigings in die 20 munisipale distrikte van die Vrystaat geakkommodeer. Lede bepaal die organisasie se oorhoofse bestuur en strategiese rigting. Personeel by die kantoor in Bloemfontein ondersteun lede en bestuur hoofsaaklik in ŉ uitvoerende hoedanigheid. Daar dien tans 115 lede in VL se strategiese werkgebiede (komitees).

Die hoogste gesag van Vrystaat Landbou is in die jaarlikse Kongres gesetel. Die uitvoerende bestuur word by die Kongres verkies en dit bestaan uit die President, Vise-President en streeksverteenwoordigers uit al 20 munisipale streke. Die uitvoerende bestuur sluit ook verteenwoordigers van verskeie geaffilieerde landboubesighede en -bedrywe in.

Vrystaat Landbou streef daarna om beleid en beleidmakers binne die gegewe politieke bestel op ŉ wyse te beïnvloed wat die vestiging van ŉ meer funksionele landbou-omgewing moontlik maak. Die vernaamste oogmerke, wat op ŉ veilige en volhoubare landbou-omgewing in die Vrystaat fokus, bly die organisasie se dryfveer.
